Should you be elected, what are three specific areas you’d like to change, address, improve or further research, and how specifically would you go about it?: Eastlake Poverty Rate of 9%; The City of Eastlake has much higher poverty rate compared to the State of Ohio (5.2%) and the United States (5.2%). A citizenry wherein 9/100 people are impoverished is unacceptable. My plan to tackle this issue is to encourage current business owners to prioritizing hiring Eastlake residents, and requiring new businesses who want to operate within our city to maintain a minumum 8% local resident workforce. Additionally, we must educate residents via hosting local networking events, connecting those impoverished residents with organizations that can assist them, personal finance seminars, and other informative financial talks. We must explore every possible option to get our city unemployment rate below the 5% state/national average.

Marketing Our City Image; We are technologically driven world, and as a municipality we ought to follow suit. That begins with advertising our city as a commodity and desirable place to reside. Increase our social media presence, overhaul our city website to be more User-Interface (UI) friendly, creating a resident email service where all residents can sign up for weekly updates about everything and anything Eastlake related, Monthly “live town halls” where I will personally host town halls wherein residents can directly talk to me as their elected official about their concerns and recommendations for the city. Anyone is welcome to co-host with me or tune in to the discussion. The possibilities are endless, but the main goal is to better inform our residents about whats going on in the city and to market our city as a place where you want to buy a house and raise a family within. 84% of our residents have computer access, therefore a digital newsletter will be most certainly beneficial.

Lastly, I will see to it that myself and the rest of my city official peers will further research that CryptoCurrency and Blockchain technology can do for our city. As a city we already have a savings account and a Money Market accountant that totals about $2/3 million dollars. I wholeheartedly believe that the strength of any city is how strong and stable their investments and cash flow are. We need to explore the option and come to the notion collectively that digital assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Cardano, and others are indeed their own asset class. El Salvador just adopted Bitcoin as a national currency, Bitcoin’s Year-to-Date (YTD) return is 344%, Ethereum YTD return is 869%, and businesses all across the United States and abroad have started to accept cryptocurrency as payment for services. As a city, investing in one of these asset classes may take our financial health to a whole new level. Imagine paying for all brand new roads, enough salt to last three brutal Ohio winters, without the need to apply for grants or borrow. To relate it back to our city, if we invested our entire “Council Events” budget of $31,000 and invested it into Bitcoin, we would be over $60,000.

Whether for past accomplishments or future goals, why should voters elect you?: My past accomplishments include taking our City basketball league from $200 in our bank account to over $20,000, coaching the kids in our community sports that I love while giving them life advice I wish I heard when I was their age, creating a free basketball program for children with developmental disabilities, and much more. I deserve your vote as councilman at-Large because you will not have another councilman who will work harder for you, who is open and willing to talk with anyone regardless of their opinions, and who actually cares about this city and wants to see it become prosperous once again.

I am not a politician, I am not your stereotypical councilman who just sits there and just passes legislation while collecting their check. I will work with everyone on any topic, issue, or plan, because myself alone cannot make this city the True Crown Jewel of Lake County as our motto once stated. Regardless of who the Mayor is, or who the other councilman are, I will work with every single person to ensure the residents best interests are put first. I might be only 23 years old, but I guarantee you that my age is the only thing that separates me from the rest of the other candidates.

I am educated and will always keep learning, my accomplishments speak for themselves, my ideas and plans stand on their own merit, and most importantly I will listen to YOU, because YOU as the resident are who I serve, not vice versa.
